Explore administration / Business impact

Run the learning platform

Show the inputs before making a comparison.

Operational indices compare activity with peers only when the source's minimum-data gates pass.

24 / 33

Admin BI is a separate, admin-only workspace. Staff reporting has its own Overview, Grading and Progress pages.

Not enough peers for comparison

Three example instructors are fewer than the required five.

Raw inputs can be inspected. A normalized peer index should stay unavailable until the comparison gates pass.

The comparison gates

Peer instructors
3 in the example / at least 5 required
Scoped instruction hours
4 in the example / at least 3 required
Scoped meaningful submissions
47 in the example / at least 10 required
Comparison context
Each eligible peer also needs 3 hours and 10 meaningful submissions

Instructional Efficiency Ratio

IER

Meaningful submissions per instruction hour.

Value Realization Index

VRI

An operational ratio using completion and resource use, with a fixed 0.8 engagement-stability factor.

Marginal Investment Signal

MIS

Required submissions per active learner, divided by scoped instruction hours.

Cost of Friction

CoF

A model of friction, with explicit input and comparison context.

Inside the VRI calculation

Completion
Required submitted versions / required attempts
Engagement stability
Fixed factor: 0.8 in the current calculation
Resource use
Scoped instruction hours / active learners
Raw VRI
Completion × 0.8 / resource use

The stability factor is a model assumption. It is not measured from this learner sample, and the ratio is not a learning-outcome score.

These are model-defined operational indicators, not audited revenue, measured financial ROI or proof of learning outcomes. The current route uses the V3 business-impact service; older financial-card manifests describe another presentation.

What this part of Arc does
  • Program selection with actual input counts
  • VRI, IER, MIS and Cost of Friction definitions
  • VRI uses a fixed 0.8 engagement-stability factor in the current calculation, not a measured stability outcome
  • Peer comparison needs five eligible instructors, each with three instruction hours and ten meaningful submissions; the selected scope also has minimum-data gates
  • Raw values, formula detail and opportunity-hour estimates; no measured financial return

This is a browsable portfolio interpretation of Arc’s workflows with fictional examples. Navigation, filtering and theme previews work here; editing, execution and platform services belong to the original application.

Inputs and peers beside the indices

The broader fictional cohort meets the comparison gates. VRI includes a fixed 0.8 stability assumption; these are modeled operational indices.

The seven-day view has insufficient eligible peers and displays absolute values instead of a peer comparison.

  1. Inventory and activity

The original BI view separates all-time inventory from activity within the selected period. Every figure comes from fictional local fixtures.

  2. Nine friction lenses

Nine distinct lenses show different participation and workflow patterns. Labels and calculation controls remain visible in the original interface.

  3. Open the calculation

The native No-Show explanation opens. A close-up retains its formula, variables and concrete substitution: one qualifying run out of 25 gives 4%.

  4. Read modeled indices carefully

The 30-day modeled-index view includes five eligible peers. Its VRI calculation includes a fixed 0.8 assumption; these indices are not validated causal measurements of teaching quality.

  5. Respect the comparison gate

A separately loaded seven-day slice has no eligible peers. Arc retains absolute values and explicitly withholds a fair peer comparison; this differs from the 30-day view shown before it.

  6. Review queues and grade context

The scoped school analytics view displays review age, score distribution and a class-by-lesson grade matrix. A detail insert makes the matrix values readable.

  7. Follow lesson progression

Started, submitted and reviewed counts stay separate along the lesson sequence, followed by a weekly trend view. This is fictional history, not reported live program impact.
